Is it possible? and if so can somebody help me out?

  no sound what so ever
Posted by: wesbronson - 07-16-2012, 10:28 PM - Forum: Getting Help - Replies (5)

Hello everyone!

would greatly appreciate your assistance. I am an experienced audio engineer but this Muse program has stumpt me. My sound card on my HP works, i can play wav and midi files but somewhere inbetween Muse and Qjack, nothing will play. I see the track inidicators and levels going up and down but no sound. I have connected everything in the Jack Audio server and still nothing. The qjack tray icon is green and everything seems in order but yet, still no sound. any suggestions? i dont understand what else there is, or what it could be. I don't think its the muse program, I think its Qjack.

DSSI synths reverting to default patch
Posted by: rialvi - 07-09-2012, 11:00 AM - Forum: Getting Help - Replies (1)

I have been using Muse for a couple months since switching from windows to linux and it works very well I think. A problem I have encountered though, is that when the song is stopped and the play marker returned to zero, any DSSI synths loaded into the project return to their default state.

Curently my workaround is to get the setting I want on the synth and then record the track to audio and mute the synth from then on.

Has anyone else noticed this problem, or have I done something wrong somewhere?

  Muse2 Markers View not openning
Posted by: angelsguitar - 07-04-2012, 12:30 PM - Forum: Getting Help - Replies (9)

When I open MusE 2 and click on View - Marker View, the markers window doesn't open. I noticed that OpenOctave MIDI, which is based on MusE's source, has the same markers window glitch. May it be that I'm missing a library or something?

I'm using Lubuntu 12.04 with KXStudio repos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

  Soft synth instance count
Posted by: ztransform - 06-19-2012, 06:13 AM - Forum: Getting Help - Replies (2)

In the 'Midi Port and Soft Synth Configuration' window removing an instance does not decrement the instance count in the 'Soft Synthesizer' list box.

  Ordering of simultaneous events
Posted by: ztransform - 06-19-2012, 06:00 AM - Forum: Getting Help - Replies (4)

When I insert a program change at a point in the song with note events the program change comes after the notes. Is it possible to explicitly specify the order of simultaneous events?

recorded waveform will not display in arrange view
Posted by: mike531 - 06-01-2012, 04:51 AM - Forum: Getting Help - Replies (1)

I am using the Muse sequencer in Linux. When I record something, the clips show up with a flat line-like nothing was recorded, like silence. The arrange view does not show the graphical waveform once I record on a track, even though when I play it back or open it into a detailed editor the waveform is there. Is there a setting somewhere to turn this "feature" on, so I can see the waveform? Or is it a bug in the program? I am using Muse 2.0 running on AV linux. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Default language not the same as system language
Posted by: ailo-at - 02-19-2012, 06:10 PM - Forum: Getting Help - Replies (3)

I installed MusE today, but found that all the menus were in Swedish. All though my keyboard is Swedish, the system language that I use on my Linux install is English.
So, this seems like a bug to me.

How do I change the language to English?
